Why Should I Donate to SMM Digital Products for Railworks?

Well, I could give you some BS like a lot of other website owners are doing about how much bandwidth they are using to provide forums, downloads, services, and such. Truth is, it doesn't cost that much to run a website, even with all that stuff, and the majority of it is paid for not by user fees, but by the constant annoying advertising banners shown on the site. Besides, if I weren't running a site for Railworks, I would be doing it for something else, simply because I enjoy creating and running websites.

I could also try to guilt you into giving me money by saying that making models for Railworks takes up all my time, estranges me from my family, causes health problems, makes me fat, on, and on, and on, ad-nauseum infinitum. The truth also is that just like all of these other modelers who are begging for money, if I didn't like "engineering" for the sim, there is no amount of money that could make me do it. As I said before, if I weren't doing this, I would be participating in some other hobby.

So what is the reason why you should reach into your pockets for SMMDigital Products for Railworks?

Because I need the bloody money!

No, really, seriously, if you think that what i'm offering on this website is good product that adds value to the experience of Rail Simulation, then give whatever you think that added value is worth to you. If you can't give, or even if you won't give because you have entitlement issues, then that's ok too. I make these things for my enjoyment and for the benifit of the Railsimming community, money or no.

Any money that you give will go towards the negligible expense of keeping this website online without ads, and to keeping the products offered truly free.
