UPCOMING: I'm working another patch for the RW-AND route. It won't be much in the way of a route extension, but will repair some of the reported issues, as well as make a few changes along the right-of-way to reflect how the prototype has changed since the project begain. Release date TBA.
Along the same lines, you may have noticed that some of the items that were available in the download pane to the left have disappeared. These items are still available for use, but they are now packaged with the AND route. I'm thinking of packaging all SMMDigital assets in one package, along with the route, so you can get everything in one-stop, and it also makes it easier to make sure everyone has the same version of all assets.
WORK-IN-PROGRESS: Despite the lack of recent communication, the Locomotive Creation Tutorial is still on track (pun intended), although it is moving along very slowly. Creating textures is not a hard process, but is very time consuming. Don't expect the next section to be posted online until at least the first week of June.

This webcam is positioned at the CSX/NS at-grade crossing in Dalton, Ga. Click on the "Play" button in the lower left corner of screen. Clicking the large one in the center pops out the main site.
For now, i've killed the annoying pop-up ads, but UStream may find a way to reinstate them at a later date. Enjoy!

Signal Creation Tutorial
Parts 1-4 of a signal creation tutorial for Railworks 3 is now available for users of 3D Canvas. This was written using 3DC version 8.xxx, but should be applicable to all version. Even if you are not into creating signals, the tutorial still provides useful tips for building assets for the simulator.
